The goal of HP SERVICES NC is to provide our employees with the safest possible work environment during their assignments with our clients by delivering comprehensive safety training and education to every team member.

The contractor must provide the necessary training and guidance to eliminate unsafe practices and conditions at the jobsite. We require that all of our field employees comply with the safety standards, regulations, and hazard communication protocols of HP SERVICES NC and the contractor.

Any employee who suspects a safety rule has been breached should first notify their supervisor or the appropriate HP SERVICES NC staffing coordinator. If no corrective action is taken or a satisfactory response is provided, the employee has the right to request a safety inspection by submitting a signed notice to the Department of Labor.

HP SERVICES NC follows a progressive disciplinary policy for breaches of safety and health guidelines. This policy may include verbal or written warnings, temporary suspensions, and termination. In cases of severe violations, termination may be applied immediately.

* Actions that endanger the health or safety of others

* Willful disregard of established safety rules

* Possession, use, or being under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs

Employees understand that some of HP SERVICES NC’s contractor clients may have additional safety policies, procedures, conditions, and practices. Employees agree to comply with these additional safety requirements. Failure to follow these policies may result in disciplinary action, up to and including immediate termination.
